Dirk is an certified cook and a former head chef, Stephanie is a qualified hotel department manager and event manager and we love our profession.
So it was a done deal, we both combine not only our names Dirk and Stephanie, but also our abilities, talents, strengths, qualifications and our everyday work and become active together. And together we are DiStepha.
After many considerations and plans we have consciously decided on a flexible catering concept. This was the birth of our Distepha food wagon.
After the idea for our little “kitchen on wheels” was born, it soon became clear that we wanted to build a food wagon where we could prepare and offer a huge authentic selection of fresh food.
It was also very important for us to be able to react extremely flexibly, also in the future, to changing eating habits of our international guests.
In addition to an extensive range of meat dishes, we naturally also offer a selection of vegetarian dishes. In order to constantly update and expand our rich offer, we also offer changing weekly specials on our menu. Every guest should therefore find his “soul food” with us.
Besides the wish to be self-sufficient, the topic of energy efficiency and climate protection was also very important to us in our company.
Therefore we decided to use a 220 Volt island solar system, which supplies the food wagon with the required electricity.
After a planning phase and construction time of 9 months, we are very proud to have reached our goals and to be able to start trading our Distepha dishes.
Of course Distepha has the necessary permits, certificates and meets the official requirements in every respect.
